01/04- Big girl bath

So this is not the first time Tubs has taken a big girl bath, its about the 4-5th, but it was the first time I finally remembered to bring my camera in for pictures.
We do not have a typical bath tub, we have a large enclosed stand up shower that runs the entire length of the bathroom and even has a seat in it.  You step down into it so the bottom can fill with about 4-5" of water and that's how our kids take "baths".  It has a pull down shower head for easy bathing.
Tubs LOVES the bath and she squeals and screams the entire time, let me tell you that bathroom has got some acoustics in it haha.

Turkey Noodle Soup and Baby mice OH MY!

I am including 2 pics today.

The first of the yummy Turkey Noodle Soup I made using my grandma's homemade egg noodles, mmmm they were so good.  The recipe can be found over at 3 Moms and a Kitchen

Secondly the little baby mouse I discovered in our kitchen.  I knew I didn't want him in the house and without knowing what else to do I took him outside and let him go in the field.  Now I am having some guilt issues as I am not sure if he was old enough to be away form the mama mouse i later spotted in the kitchen EEEEEK!  Ah the "joys" of country living.  He is kind of cute in a creepy "I am afraid of mice" sort of way lol.

Happy New Year!!!!

I have a few friends who are also doing the 365 year in photos project and I thought I would "jump on the bandwagon" as well.  Anyone who knows me knows I love spamming pictures pretty much on a daily basis (and they still love me anyways!) so I figured it shouldn't be too hard for me to keep up with this...... we shall see I guess.  I hope I can make myself post at least 1 picture each day and think it will be awesome at this time next year to be able to go through them all.

I hope you all will take this journey with me.  Maybe even create your own 365 journey as well!


Fitting for my crazy hectic life my first photo for this year is our 2010 Christmas tree, sadly STILL up.  I finally moved it off the center island table in the kitchen to the kitchen floor a few days ago so I could at least have my work space back.  I hope to find the time to get it all down and put away tomorrow!  Its bad luck to take it down before Jan 1 anyways right? haha  I think that superstition was invented by lazy and/or busy people who didn't take their decorations down right after Christmas.
